Physical, temperature shocks and abrasion can damage porcelain. That is why we advise to handle your porcelainware as cautiously as you do with any precious object. Hand-wash is the best condition of a strong permanence in time.

J.L Coquet porcelain can be washed in a domestic dish-washer. However, we cannot guarantee the longevity of the pattern in time.

Here are the best advices for your J.L Coquet porcelain, knowing that the hardness of water of each place is different as well as every dish-washers, detergents and washing temperatures:

  • The lowest temperature is recommended.
  • Use the less aggressive products, and try to use half of the recommended quantity.
  • Leave enough space between each plate in your dish-washer so as to avoid shocks and rubbings during the washing stage.

Please do not put items decorated with precious metals (gold & platinum) in the micro-wave as this could damage the patterns as well as the micro-wave itself.
