» View the Checks Hotel / Restaurant Collection by Thomas Keller & Raynaud Thomas Keller, elected "World's Best Chef" in 2002, is unanimously praised by the American and international gastronomic press, his Napa Valley restaurant has in ten years become a gastronomic must. Building on the success of the French Laundry, he opened a new restaurant Per Se in New York in early 2004. Cuisine becomes a work of art when, beyond the mastery of the necessary technical knowledge, it conveys an esthetic ideal. Thomas Keller's cuisine offers an amazing emotional and esthetic experience. Through a kind of complex alchemy, it touches our emotional memory and also reveals notions of sensitivity, of seduction, of sharing, of generosity. Beyond satisfaction, he wishes to renew sensations, prompt surprise and near perfection. He loves porcelain, always seeking a new shape, because it is part of the creation and sublimates the pleasure of tasting. He decided to commission a new line of porcelain to renew his settings, to glorify them. He wanted very white, very flat, very wide-brimmed plates, he likes to superpose them from the largest to the smallest, he wanted new shapes for dishes, spoons, dish covers, cups... to concoct new surprises. No functionality can be frozen, it must evolve with inspiration. He chose Level, a San Francisco design agency, and Limoges porcelain manufacturer Raynaud, to create this POINT collection. POINT, a kind of tribute to Fernand Point, a recognition by Thomas Keller of the marked influence French gastronomy had on him, "POINT", a yearning for simplicity and perfection, elementary shapes, that's it. » View the Thomas Keller Raynaud Point Hotel / Restaurant Collection » View the Checks Hotel / Restaurant Collection by Thomas Keller & Raynaud Back to top of page Brochure & Media Downloads
